Install RDS on 2012 R2 VM

Hi,

I like to install RDS with VDI on a 2012 R2 server.

For test purpose and potentially production purpose i like to install this in a virtual machine.

For the time being i checking which hypervisor can support this deployment:

- VMware ESX

- Microsoft Hyper-V

- other ??

Can you advise on the best deployement for using RDS with VDI service ?

Is it mandatory to have a physical server or can i use a VM ?
