We have a 30 user Remote Desktop environment. All 30 users login from XP or Wise Thin Client devices. We have about 3 different Printer related scenarios:
1. Group of Users would like the client default printer (Local USB from XP Thin client) to be the Default Printer in RDS Session.
2. Group of Users would like a specific Network Printer to be Default Printer in RDS Session.
3. Group of Users would like option to select default printer an keep that between sessions.
Right now all users are getting option 3 however when they pick their local client printer as default it does not stick after they log off then back in.
We currently have the RDS option to redirect local printers but not checked to set Client Default as Session default because most users do not like that settings. Any ideas?
