We are trying to publish office via remoteapps to our entire environment. I'm having an issue deploying the RemoteApp and Desktop Connections URL via GPO to any Server 2012 R2 RD Session host. Is this even possible? I've tested the GPO setting on a Windows 8.1 desktop and it WAS successful, so I know the policy is set up correctly.
I even installed Desktop Experience on the server and nothing. I generated a gpresult report and can see the policy did take with no errors but the remote app configuration did not take. I'm also finding that file association only works when the URL is applied via GPO.
Our goal is to have office available in all environments, even if a user is logged in to a terminal server.
Any ideas?
