We have a RDS 2012 R2 farm with 1 gateway and 2 session hosts. We have a couple windows 7 pro systems that where users are being asked for their login credentials when launching a published app using remoteapp. In windows 7, there is a credentials manager applet. I enter the info in this syntax:
internat address: sub.domain.tld
username: domain\username
password: <password>
This still results in the users being asked for their credentials (it does however populate the username). Is there a way to get credential manager to work in this situation? Or maybe i am using the wrong "piece" to get this to work. I don't believe SSO will work in this instance as the users are on a non-domain joined PC. Any ideas as to how to get this to work so non-domain joined users don't have to enter their credentials every time?
