windows server 2003 terminal server - turning off the server for a long time

I have replaced the win2k3 terminal server with a win2k12 r2 RDS server.

I would like to have to have the win2k3 terminal server turned off for a year before disjoining it from the network. Will there be a problem if the win2k3 terminal server has been offline for a year and then I connect it back to the network and disjoin it from the network?
