I've setup a new 2012 R2 Server with Remote Desktop Services to allow a few users connection back to our office via RDP. One of the two users is experiencing quite a bit of latency while the other one is just fine. We've had them check the network connections at their physical locations and they appear to be up and good. Internet connectivity is good.
I happened to shadow the user and found that when I established a shadow connection, his latency dissappered. Everything ran normally. When I stopped Shadowing, his speeds dropped again. He tests by dragging a folder across the page and finds lots of latency.
Can anyone explain why his speed is better when I shadow him?
