Adding a new RD Session Host to existing RDS Farm (2012R2)

Good Day,

We have recently added more end users and I need to deploy one or two more RDS Session Hosts Servers. What is the best practice for doing this? Should I "clone" one of the existing servers (virtual) and then run NewSid on it? Or build the new server, making all the apps and settings identical, and then add it to the farm?

The existing farm is pretty small (3 Session Hosts, 2 GW servers).
