Scenario
2012 Hyper V Host.(hypervisor)
3 Virtual servers 2012R2 installed,
Server 1 (ERP 1)
Server 2 (ERP2)
Server 3 Citrix, with both ERP 1&2 clients installed.
my new erp software (erp2) will be launched soon the citrix server will host the client for remote distribution.
I have installed the licenses on 2012 and activated them but each tie i log in I get a popup stating.
Remote Desktop licensing mode is not configured
Remote Desktop Services will stop working in 29 Days. (this started at 120) On the RD Connection Broker server (what is this??), user Server Manager to specify the Remote Desktop licensing mode and the license server.
I have gone to RD license Diagnose and the warning I also get is.
2 warnings
- The licensing mode for the Remote Desktop Host server is not configured
and
- The Remote Desktop Session Host server is within it's grace period but the RD Session Host has not been configured with any license Serer
when I use action/ connect to another host server and then point to my hyper V host / hypervisor the error goes away, ( i installed RD services on this machine as well.
Something is not configured properly, any help or direction would be welcomed.
