UPD storage size limit

Hi. We have and RDS farm with a session collection that is configured to use UPD hosted on a fileshare.

We're now facing a problem where we've reached the size limit of the volume on the storage where the UPD share is stored (currently at 15TB). We need this to be able to scale to much larger sizes up to 100TB.

There are ways to circumvent the SAN limitation by creating multiple volumes and creating dynamic disk on the Windows server hosting the UPD fileshare.

My questions are:

1) to which scale was UPD tested or how large volumes can it support? If we create a 100TB share, will RDS (RDCB) be able to handle that? Was UPD tested with fileshares hosted on dynamic disks? Is it even supported?

2) as an (unfavored) alternative we would use multiple session collections with multiple UPD shares, but there's no simple way for a user to move between session collections (from the storage perspective - the UPD VHDX is stored on one share and would have to be moved manually). Is there a better/more transparent way for users to travel between session collections?
