Allowing a admin user to edit a Office 2007 Access Database when anothe ruser has it open on Terminal server Windows 2008r2

Hi all,

Sure there is a simple answer to this, but cannot find it.

Our situation is on a server running Windows 2008r2 Standard on a Virtual drive linked to SBS Server 2008.

Running Office 2007 Pro. Logged into server using Remote Desktop connection.

If I as a admin user of server and I seem to have all admin rights ( from what I can see)  under Active Directory Users and Computers.

If I open up our Access 2007 database which is split between a backend and front end. I cannot change , well save any changes I may make to a report for example, as another user on server has it open.

Should I be looking in server's users rights area or is this within Office 2007 Access itself?

Hope the above makes sense.

Thanks in advance

Phil
