Remote Desktop Connection to the VM pool fails in external network

Hi,

I recently setup a RDS on a lab environment. I can successfully create the virtual desktop collections and can access the web access, VMs internally. However, when I uses external network (outside the lab) to access the VMs, it gives me an error:
"Your computer can't connect to the remote computer because an error occurred on the remote computer that you want to connect to. Contact your network administrator for assistance."

Note that I can access it without problem inside the lab network. A router is connected through the lab network and external network. I already set up port forward on 443, 80, 3389 to the connection broker server (which also has the role RD Gateway).

I can access the RD Web access page and login in the external network. However, when I click on one of the VMs, the above message appears. I cannot identify the issue with the above error. Could anyone give me some advice on this situation?

Thanks
-AllenKC
