Hi All,
We have a new client who has a a fairly complex profile design and It's doing my head in. They have an RDS Farm (Server 2012R2) in our Datacentre, with a 50/10 or 10/10 link connecting their Main Office to the datacentre.
They have the below use cases:
- Remote Offices using Full RDS Session based.
- Main Office on Desktop using RemoteApp.
- Main Office on Laptop Using RemoteApp. Also needs the ability to access their files from home on the laptop. RemoteApp Delivered via Gateway/RDWeb.
- Users from the main office, working from home on their personal computers using full RDS Session based desktop.
What is the best profile design I can use here that works with these use cases? Roaming profiles between desktop and RDS is a bad plan as they're using RemoteApp. Folder redirection will cause sync issues all over the place.
Can I configure a separate roaming profile configuration on the RDS servers to the desktops/laptops. Or is it an all or nothing sort of deal?
Cheers,
Ben
