I have this setup at home. A 6,1 Mac Pro with 2xD500 GPU and a Windows 10 PC. The Mac is connected to 3x4k monitors. So far I had no problems wit RDP for all three monitors (MAC to Win10). There was a minimum lag, but it was ok. Now I changed to the new 2018 Mac mini and the GPU on this machine is slower as the MacPro. So I bought also an eGPU a RX56 Vega in a Sonnet Box. Tried to open RDP and the result is very bad. The eGPU goes up to 100% even when you drag a window on only one screen. So here it doesn't matter if connect one or three displays. The problem is the GPU.
Will there be ever support for eGPU on Mac? Or is there something I have to do to get this to work?
