I can successfully login to work resources page of RemoteWebApp, but unable to launch any of the published apps.
Quick Background
Two server setup.
Server1 - runs DC DNS (contains a dns entry for FQDN) / File Share / DHCP not turned on yet, but will / RD Licensing Server /SQL Express
Server2 - runs RDS and will host sessions / RD Web Access / RD Gateway / RD Connection Broker / RD Session Host
Steps to recreate issue
From Server 1 or Server 2 point web browser to the FQDN/RDWeb or ipaddress/RDWeb or Hostname/RDWeb
At the RemoteApp and Desktop Connection login.
Enter domain\username and password click sign in.
Sign in successful, and I'm taken to the RemoteApp and Desktops page where i can see the published apps.
Click on Calculator. windows pops up titled "Opening cpub-calc-Full_Desktop-CmsRdsh.rdp
Accept the default selection to open with remote Desktop Connection.
A "Do You Trust the publisher of this RemoteApp program window. . ." pops up. Again I accept defaults and click on connect.
A windows Security window popups prompting for username and password. Enter the same username and password using the domain\username convention for he username and click OK.
RemoteApps attempts to start Calculator and then error.
Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer.
"FQDN" for one of these reasons.
1) Your user account is not listed in the RD Gateway's permission list
2) You might have specified the remote computer in netbios format (for example computer1), but the RD gateway is expecting and FQDN or IP address format (for example computer1.fabrikam.com or 157.60.0.1).
Contact your network administrator for assistance.
BTW I do have a common cert installed using the fqdn.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
