I have two Windows server (Windows 2007 server and Windows 2003 server ) connected to each other by OFC cable. The purpose of my application is to take Windows 2003 server PC in remote from 2007 server. I am able to ping, share and access folder from 2007 server machine to 2003 server machine but I am not able to take 2003 server in remote by any means. However I am able to take the 2007 machine in remote from 2003 server machine.
Earlier it was working fine. But then connectivity got lost and we found one core of the ofc cable damaged and then we used another spare core and connectivity was established but we are not able to take the 2003 server machine in remote. Pinging is OK, folder can be accessed, remote desktop related services have been started by services.msc (netlogon service is not getting started though I am not sure whether it is required for remote access), also remote settings in system properties are also ok.
