We are experiencing problems with redirecting a smart card reader in an RDP session.
We have a Sophos firewall, behind that a domain controller which functions as a rdgateway and as a connection broker that puts the sessions through to one of our three session hosts. These are all Windows Server 2012r2.
Eventually the smart card gets recognized, but this takes about three minutes. We use the smart card reader in an application for security reasons, not for logging on to the server.
In the past we had the same situation with Server 2008r2 and this worked fine out of the box.
Has anyone an idea how to solve this?
