Hi All,
A client of ours has setup a terminal server for remote access to their line of business. The client realized after the grace period that he was not using the terminal server CALs he had purchased.
Current TS setup:
* Domain/Workgroup: Workgroup
* Licensing: Per User
* CALS Type: Per User/ Retail Purchase
* Total, Available, Issued: 20, 20 and Not Applicable
* CAL details in TS Licensing:
* Issued To: Not Applicable
* Issued On: Not Applicable
* Expires On: Not Applicable
* Quantity: Not Applicable
The TSCTST.exe tool on the client machine states there is no license. License Server View tool shows that the Type is set to Domain and I suspect this maybe the issue but i cannot see where you specify a domain or workgroup when setting up TS licensing.
Any help on this would be much appreciated.
