Cannot connect to Remote Desktop Gateway Server from certain clients - need some diagnostic logging information to troubleshoot

Hello

We have a problem where we have setup  3 VMs on a hyper V 2012R2 host. DC01, EX01, TS01. We are able to connect to the RDGW from all external client sites apart from one site. The strange thing is there are 3 computers at the problem site that will work all the others hang a "initializing remote connection"

The problem seems to be that no connection attempt is even made to the gateway from all the problem PCs. The PCs are all the in the same OU in AD.

I would like to know how we can troubleshoot this, the audit logging in RDGW manager which it puts in the the event log only show successful connections, we need a client log which shows what happens when we try and connect from one of the problem client PCs - this is most important so we can actually see what's happening.

Alternatively if there is a different way of testing connectivity to the RDGW server from this problem site on one of the problem PCs that would also be very useful.

To clarify this issue affects 1 site, not connected in anyway to the problem site where the RDGW server is, all other remote sites work and 3 PCs from the problem site work, the other 30 odd PCs (Mix of W7 and W8.1) dont work.

Logging of connection and a way of diagnosing connections to the RDGW server is what we need
