My RDS environment:
1 Connection Broker
3 Session Hosts
*All servers are Windows Server 2012 R2
*Using HP Thin Clients
Hello,
I'm having an issue with my RDS environment. Each user is my organization gets an S:\ drive mapping for our organizational share through a logon script. The S:\ drive is a share in our DFS namespace.
It seems that the first user that logs on to a particular Session Host server gets the S:\ drive mapping without issue. Subsequent users that connect to the same Session Host server get a "Disconnected Network Drive" object with a red "X"
on it in place of the S:\ drive (see the screenshot below). The S:\ drive is still accessible to them but does not appear as a mapped drive in their session when running the "net use" command and the S:\ drive cannot be manually disconnected
either. The same "Disconnected Network Drive" object also shows up for users that log on to the same Session Host server that are not assigned any logon scripts or drive mappings.
I've tried rebooting the session host servers, but the problem always returns.
Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
