Hi.
I have an issue with some client PC's when accessing a Windows 2K8R2 terminal server.
All the client machines are identical but only some of them have this issue.
All client PC's can connect to the internet (as this is how they connect to the server) but some hang up to 90 seconds at the "Securing Remote Connection" screen and then eventually timeout with a "This server cannot be contacted".
If you then try again, there is a 30 second delay and the client connects. Once connected, you can log out and login again and it works, UNTIL you restart the client machine.
This only affects SOME machines not all and having done a network trace on a faulty machine I can see that MSTSC makes contact with the server (Credentials are requested) and then the traffic seems to stop.
I have tried all of the web remedies (stopping local certificate updates etc) but to no avail. I am also at a loss as to why this only affects some machines an not others.
Any help / guidance is appreciated.
